1. It is a huge place, which is worth noting.

2. It's not huge, it gets a little crowded but the views are spectactular and one of the best places to have a tropical drink in the islands: floating on an orange bean bag in an infinity pool over looking the ocean and Diamond head.

3. The only thing is that the Waikiki Beach reclamation project (huge trucks transferring up and down the beach dumping sand to re-fill out the beach), starts daily from 7 am until about 2 pm Mon-Thurs, so the sound of the trucks may be heard on the lower floors -- we were OK, but I could faintly hear them on the 17th floor.

4. We personally can't eat a huge meal every morning and some mornings you have to take off and try great spots like Eggs and Things ( close enough to walk and you can walk off the breakfast back to your hotel) I loved the luxury feel of this hotel and the open design.

7. The lobby and public areas are huge, noisy and filled with hundreds of people disembarking endless streams of tour busses.

8. What's worse, being in a wheelchair, there was no way to cross to and from adjacent properties on the beach side--and none of the streets go through because the Sheraton complex is so HUGE.

9. I can live with a room being quite basic if the service was great, but when it's not, and you pay a huge amount + tax + resort fee for terrible service- you come away feeling completely ripped off.

10. The hotel is a refurb and the rooms aren't huge, but the beachfront location, lobby area and hotel amenities are excellent.
