1. That is the only reason why i would not highly recommend this hotel.

2. It is nice to get out of the main corridor (K-Street) for a change and venture to the Northwest on Connecticut Avenue for some nice surroundings (Rock Creek) and some pretty good and reasonably priced restaurants nearby.

3. One block away are 15- 20 casual, reasonably priced restaurants for any taste - American, Irish, Indian, Asian, Lebanese, Japanese, Italian or Mexican.

4. An elegant Washington hotel and very famous for it's Blue Room function room where the presidential inaugaural ball is always held, Lovely restaurant and reasonably priced too.
