7. I asked the loyalty ambassador, Katie, for connecting rooms and we were given fabulous, huge corner connecting rooms (even though it was Memorial Day weekend, and the hotel seemed very full, and we had booked in on the Omni's discounted rate for that weekend).

I can best sum up the hotel as a 'Grand Dame', as the minute you walk through the front door you are in a huge, fabulous lobby with beautiful crystal chandeliers and overstuffed (very comfortable) furniture; from there you walk into what can only be described as probably the prettiest restaurant in Washington called Robert's.
