2. Very clean, gorgeous lobby, atms at both ends of the lobby, quiet floor, helpful staff and Starbucks coffee available in the lobby cafe with a decent priced gift shop & jewelry boutique also available.

4. The hotel has attractive public areas, and although a little dated we found this added to the charm and helped to convey the history of the hotel.

5. Importantly, the hotel is 2 mn walk from the metro which we found to be cheap, efficient and easy to use, and helped us navigate the city in a cost effective way - (note the Metro does not go to Georgetown - although a taxi each way is about $10.
