Staff are welcoming and helpful - we were upgraded to a bigger room due to the length of our stay without even asking - and you have all the amenities you could really need - FREE wifi (a pet peeve of mine with so many US hotels), convenience of Dupont Circle and lots of nearby restaurants (the in-house breakfast is a little pricey - my only criticism - but there are great options a block away).

10. Perhaps slightly pricey and for that could have provided more bathroom products - I'd forgotten mine so made do with Aveda products for hair but nothing of interest in shower gel department.
