1. The following morning we transferred back to Palomar, and were given keys to adjoining suite rooms - two complimentary bottles of red wine and a somewhat unnecessary apology letter for any inconvenience caused.
"Top location, fantastic amenities and unbeatable service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/13/2012 Vote
2. They were not particularly apologetic for all the inconvenience, but did move me to a corner room on a high floor (I insisted on moving myself this time).
"Extraordinarily noisy rooms, mediocre service. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/3/2012 Vote
3. The move was handled poorly by the bellman they sent (who disappeared for >20 minutes with the keys) and was an inconvenience--I would have been much better off if they'd just given me the keys and let me move myself.

4. For example, when I was discussing with one of the managers my confusion over the tax charged on my room service bills, she immediately issued me credit--which I didn't expect or ask for--and, afterwards, sent a gift certificate to me, presumably for the inconvenience.
"Excellence in Action " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/7/2012 Vote
5. It was so bad we had to inconveniently relocate for the next night, and our second room, while quieter, was not as large and the bathroom not so luxurious, so this was a bit disappointing.
"A lot to like, but just one niggle " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/19/2011 Vote
6. Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do about this, and it was only a mild inconvenience, but it was annoying.
"Excellent Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/21/2009 Vote
7. Three minor points: (1) the hotel entrance has steps going down to the reception area, which some guests with roll-on luggage may find inconvenient.
"Good hotel, great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/11/2008 Vote
8. I did write an email to the hotel about the minor inconveniences in our stay, where I was offered a copy of our final bill, and an apology for not having the proper amenities.
"Great hotel in Dupont Circle with a few problems... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/6/2008 Vote
9. Additionally, it`s location is convenient for hopping on the Metro to go sight seeing and if you are in to walking, it`s not that inconvenient to get to the Mall or the White House.
"Kimpton Wow`s Again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/24/2008 Vote
10. We did have a very slight problem with waiting for our car to be retrieved from valet service upon our departure, but the management recognized the problem and quickly compensated us for our inconvenience.
