1. The internet access is very poor and I would expect better of a Kimpton hotel, this can be very annoying if you are trying to work from your room, where the desk facilities are very good.

2. TV reception in the room was poor as well, but you don't come on holiday to watch the telly, do you? Parking was also dear at $40 a day, and it took a good half an hour for the valet service to produce the car on check out, but again that was not much of a bother.

5. Two minor cons is the TV is an HDTV but the channels are standard definition, making for unnecessarily poor viewing and the tubs are slightly shallower than a normal tub.

8. My room was minuscule - smaller than my master bath at home - the wifi signal was poor, no working Ethernet port for a hard wire connection, and the bathroom, too, was very small.
