1. Negatives: my complaints are really with the rooms - our room became very loud every hour or so with what may have been the pool pump, our bathroom took on a sewage smell when draining the bathtub.

3. I can imagine the patio could get loud with a group of friends enjoying drinks (the hotel has a good collection of wine and beer offered by the glass), but the only thing we heard were the chirping of the birds and the trickle of the fountain.

6. Also, it was very loud when the person upstairs used the shower in the morning - the running water woke up both of us from peaceful slumber.

7. We spent one night in a first floor room outside the courtyard, and there was some issue with noise- a group of people were up early , and their conversation was loud enough to be heard through the door.
