7. When I called guest services they blamed Expedia for lack of disclosure.

8. While the location can't be beat, the lack of a lobby is greatly felt - they are punching a hole where the lobby should be and there is a lot of construction noise throughout the hotel, and sometimes the smell of diesel fumes on the conference levels.

There is a restaurant in the hotel offering the standard buffet breakfast (bountiful but eggs, potatoes, and cooked meats are often tepid at best as is the case with most breakfast buffets), but I suspect most guests opt for dining off-site as San Diego hardly lacks a wide array of fine restaurants, many within easy walking distance of the hotel (Dobson's being just a few steps from the front door to say nothing of Horton Plaza's top-level food court).
