1. hotel bar was tiny, would recommend walking to the main tower hotel as they had a lobby bar and one in their restaurant.

4. Not quite up to par was the on-site restaurant which is really a dimly lit bar with tiny round tables, more suited to have a drink than to have dinner (the actual restaurant area is roped off and set aside for breakfast use only).

First off, this property is ooooold compared to other major hotels in the San Diego area, the rooms in the marina tower are tiny and the while the front desk tries their best to trick you into staying at the Bay Towers (about 1/2 mile away) where the rooms are supposed to be 30% bigger, those rooms are even OLDER (if you can believe it).

10. The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a nautical theme, which was fitting, but the bathroom was tiny, the towels coarse, and the pillows old and lumpy (glad we brought our own).
