3. Pricey at $29/night, slow to get checked in as we crept our way up Houston Street (granted, we were there during the Alamo Bowl, an extremely busy time for the entire Riverwalk area), and the promised 15 minute delivery on our car for departure was actually 30 minutes.

4. We have never ever experienced such a slow breakfast restaurant luckily we were on a holiday but waiting 10 minutes for your table and then 15 min for a waiter to show up should not happen in such a nice hotel with the breakfast room half empty.

8. We found the staff to be somewhat rude, slow, and uncaring, additionally, on Christmas the fire alarm went off, and most of the hotel was in the process of evacuating, when we finally got down to like the 2nd floor we were told it was a false alarm.
