Despite a service faux pas or two (we were at first given the key to the wrong room -- a king, instead of the two queen executive suite I booked -- and it took a couple of trips back to the front desk to get things straightened out) the sheer beauty, understated opulence, and extremely friendly and attentive service put this hotel on a level far above any others that I have stayed in before.
