Marble foyers and halls? Solid wood carved walls with
expensive
framed artwork? You do not see this anywhere except 100 year old hotels.

To be clear, the service was appropriate for a less
expensive
property but nowhere near 5 star.

It's overrated and
expensive
but there are some unique candies and takehome gifts if you don't have time to go out shopping.

Perhaps coming from the
expensive
northeast I was blown away by the relatively low price of the hotel.

expensive
this year than last.

I didn't feel like things were overpriced - that's not to say it isn't
expensive
to stay there, but in comparison to similar hotels in other cities, the Grand America was very reasonable.

We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very tasty and not as
expensive
as many other hotel restaurants.

Though to me it was a bit

The premier king room is a little less
expensive
than the executive king and we prefer it and asked to be moved to one.
