My room was quiet and clean, though it seemed that it may have been a smoking room at one point, from a faint
odor
(though it didn't trouble me too much and I do have a sensitive nose).

This year (2008), same lodging site, but the room had an odd
odor
and also the bathroom`s drinking glass had lots of white dried filmy gunk at the bottom --some past guest`s toothpaste or denture glue residue or some such.
"Loved it last year but not now. Eeeeew WASH the drinking glasses... "

We've stayed there before with mixed results but this time the room was even smaller; no tub-only a shower; an unpleasant
odor
in the bathroom.
