1. As a welcoming gift, the Hotel also provided a lovely complimentary desert consisting of a slice of cake a few candies and an edible replica of Van Gogh's sunflower painting (looked like a stained glass window or something).

7. There were stains on the rug in our room, there were dead bugs in the light fixture, finger prints on the elevator wall/button area and in the morning a 1/2 full wine glass on the table in the hall.

8. we opted for the new linens, but I found the exact same stain on the comforter the next day (the comforter had just been flipped rather than cleaned).
