1. I had stayed there once before and had a few minor issues that I probably wouldn't have thought twice about if it was any hotel brand other than the Four Seasons.

3. With the exception of some hotel-wide TV issues that lasted most of the day on 7/30/11, everything about our trip was perfect and the staff was very pleasant to us.

Service issues are dealt with on a no-fuss basis: at dinner, I said I wanted plain water for my table of 3 and I was rather perturbed when we got charged $24 for mineral water; i mentioned it the next morning (as I was entertaining the night before in the restaurant and didn't want to mention it at the time) and I got a prompt apology with the charge removed.

7. And when I notified the front desk, they acted shocked like it's the first time they've heard of this complaint but I know that my colleagues and clients have experienced the same problems and made the issue known.

8. It is very much a standard-issue international business hotel with a standard room layout, using standard fittings, a standard issue bed and standard facilities.

9. But the biggest issue came down to this: I had an issue with an aspect of the billing for the room, and when I brought it up with reception I was made to feel uncomfortable, which took a lot away from the stay for me.
