1. My husband thinks that maybe it was because we requested a room overlooking the pond, but there were plenty of those on the other side of the pond and the hotel wasn't full, so I beg to differ on that point) The first night, a Friday, was extremely loud up until around 1 AM with people coming and going on the elevator.

2. But all it would take was ither one of us to be the type of people who are loud and/or incosiderate or even justy possibly stayed in our rooms much more often and this would have been a big problem.
