My only quibble - and this probably won't bother most people: If you want the
weird
ness and funkiness and other-worldliness that is New Orleans - you won't find it here (well, other than the purple walls).

The continental breakfast was totally ordinary - cereal, bagels, make-em-yourself waffles, and some
weird
little omelet-looking things you could microwave.

) The outside is very pretty, although that inside courtyard is a little
weird
-- seems like a wasted space to me.

Front desk staff is efficient and quick - just an average place to stay for one night + one
weird
neighborhood.

The complimentary breakfast is best skipped (those horrible pre-cooked 'omelets' and
weird
link sausages), but there are good places to eat within walking distance.

The only
weird
situation I had was discovering a cockroach in our room.

There was a
weird
bath mat in our shower, which seemed to have been glued to the bottom of the tub.

Our room was
weird
, very large, and a strange mix of new and antique furnishings.
