1. We loved this hotel although we felt that it lost its 5star status because of the traffic going through the reception - this unfortunately cannot be avoided in Vegas.

2. Although I normally prefer something smaller, more intimage, not so crowded etc, it's clearly the order of the day in Las Vegas and there's no avoiding it.

3. On bit of advice, if you don't like crowds similar to shopping in Oxford Street just before Xmas then avoid a Friday and Saturday.

5. Be sure to get a Line Pass to avoid long lines for cafe in garden area or buffet.

6. You can stay in the Spa tower and avoid the casino, especially if you are attending a function at the Belllagio convention area, but we didn't mind.

8. We happened to get the friendliest check-in staff who, upon learning it was our anniversary, upgraded us to a fountain-view room, gave us a VIP pass to avoid line-ups at the restaurants (particularly the Buffet.

9. We had pre-arranged a sedan service pick-up from the airport (which was well worth the $46) to avoid the insane taxi lineup and our driver was waiting for us at baggage claim.

10. It's simply impossible to avoid going through the stinky smokey casino to get anywhere and it made me realise how much I detest the smell of stale smoke.
