The reason I would not stay at the Renoir again is location - it is on the edge of what most of my friends who live in San Francisco describe as the
worst
part of downtown.

The Renoir Hotel is in a truly awful location -- right smack in the middle of the
worst
part of the Tenderloin, which is Crackhead/Homeless/Mentally Disturbed Central.
