1. As for the not so favourable reviews of this hotel, they are mostly related to The poor homeless people that do frequent this City.
"Great stay and good location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
2. The hotel is not to blame for many of the reasons why the hotel gets a poor rating as it has more to do with the location than anything else, but it is important to know what to expect before you book.
"Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2012 Vote
3. The bed was comfy, the shower was poor and apart from a tv, no other amenities were provided.
"Would Not recommend " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/21/2012 Vote
4. The reality, however, is that this hotel is seedy at best, dirty, ragged, old, offers incredibly poor customer service and it's located in an area you don't want to walk at night or leave your car.
"Run away before the cockroaches catch you! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/26/2009 Vote
5. They try to mend the fact that it is in a poor sector of town, It is horrible with the bums, drugies, everywhere.
"This hotel is the PIT of the earth " Read full review on Travelocity   9/1/2009 Vote
6. It is on a street with a couple of adult theaters and there are a lot of homeless people who hang around outside, but my friend and I never felt unsafe walking to and from it and within 3 minutes you hit the 'nicer' part of town so the poor surrounds of the Renoir are a distant memory.
"Cheap, clean and cheerful, near city center but in very bad area " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/22/2007 Vote
7. There were alot of television channels, although I wouldn`t rate any of these positively as American television is full of adverts and poor programmes.
"Adequate but not great " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/24/2005 Vote
8. Also, the city seems to be more aware that they have to take care of all these poor people and that they can`t continue letting them hang out in front of hotels and restaurants wherever you go.
"Loved the Renoir, not the taxi driver " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/19/2005 Vote
9. On arrival at the hotel all you see are Homeless and poor people lying or sleeping in the doorways, it is not a very good place to be walking in as you are always asked for money by the beggars, The hotel was okay just, but in the wrong place the staff were trying there best.
"Staying in the Getto " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2004 Vote
