There are groups of
rough
looking ppl who stand around on the st corners, you dont feel scared walking around there during the day as they are a lot of ppl walking by and cops there quite often but its just not pleasant to look at.

We stayed for the Love Fest the first week of October and our stay was a bit
rough
here but I'll start with the positives we were only across the street from the Love Fest action so that was a good thing and the staff was great and super helpful.

renoir hotel san francisco my wife and i stopped here for two nights 24 &25th may 2008staff were very goodthe hotel is in avery run down conditionthe area round the hotel is very scary with all the homeless sleeping

and is about the size of a small wash cloth or half the width of a regular towel.
