Here are the pros and cons of the hotel:Pros:#1The hotel is easily accessible to the BART and cable cars and other public transportation#2The hotel is clean#3The hotel staff is very friendlyCons:#1The hotel is in a VERY BAD part of town completely surrounded by homeless, drug dealers, pimps, etc so safety is a factor when walking around this part of town.

3. We just had a two night stay here and although it was not a high class boutique hotel it certainly wasn't as bad as some I've stayed in.

6. We couldnt leave the car because the area wappeared so bad, the front desk whom we spoke to on the phone was nice and helpful.
