3. I realized the neighborhood and homeless sucked also for food I ate at Carls jr the Asian cafes close by were filthy and scary and staff were rude at doughnut and bakery.

4. It was clean and the hotel staff were quite friendly, but the surrounding streets were a little bit scary, we looked outside of our window and saw people using drugs and our tour driver told us not to leave the hotel at night as it was not safe.

5. First of all, it's located in a very very VERY scary area (We were told that 'crack alley' was nearby, go figure) with lots of scary people around, even the taxi driver who took me from the airport to the hotel warned me not to ever go out alone at night.

10. renoir hotel san francisco my wife and i stopped here for two nights 24 &25th may 2008staff were very goodthe hotel is in avery run down conditionthe area round the hotel is very scary with all the homeless sleeping rough on the sidewalks and groups of people hanging around.
