True, the location of the hotel is good if you want to be near downtown and not too expensive, but I have to say that it is old and
worn
(not in a charming 'how cute' kind of way).

The room was quite basic but functional with an old CRT TV screen and dated/
worn
furniture + stained shower floor and some damaged bathroom tiles.

For example, the bedding is comfortable but sheets were

Our room was
worn
and bleak and the bathroom not quite clean - not to mention the towels with big brown stains.

It's nicely on the edge of town without being on the edge of civilisation and it's nicely
worn
without being rundown.
