1. The 5 of us fit comfortably in a room with a rollaway, very high ceilings but somewhat dated furniture.

6. Yes, I know the Whitcomb is historic, but to me it feels terribly dated and is unfortunate to be situated in 'drop-out' alley given the large numbers of homeless, beggars and decidedly suspicious looking characters loitering outside.

7. Fixtures were not modern but are so old that it is charming, not dated.

8. Yes, the staff are pleasant enough but the rooms are dated and need a good lick of paint, an updated heat/ventilation system and bathrooms need to be ripped out.
