3. The Sir Francis Drake is an older hotel and although we had an Executive King room it seemed rather dated, the closets smelled very musty, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the bathtub had been painted and the paint was peeling off and flaking into the tub, there was no space for placing toiletries or hairdryer, broken ice maker on our floor, no wine reception held at this location (they will give you a coupon for free glass of house wine in bar however), a sad workout room, no spa or saunas like at other Kimpton hotels, and pretty flat front desk personnel (except for the Concierge).

4. I don't know what other rooms are like in this hotel, but ours had a terrible view, the window didn't seal so it was cold in our room, and the bathroom was really sad, with chipped paint, broken mirror, and poor water pressure.
