1. We had a friend who stayed in a small room in the older tower side and he said that his room was much smaller and looked old and outdated, so I guess the key is to request a poolside room.

5. Good Points- The location is great- The historic feel of the hotel is pretty neat- The staff is very niceDownsides- The room we stayed in smelled of must- The bathroom was extremely outdated- Our sheets where visibly dirty, we requested new sheets, they were dirtier that the first set.

7. One of the problems in SF is they know the rooms will be booked so unless you want to jump a up a level or two in price class, most hotel rooms look somewhat outdated.
