The only part of the hotel that still looked a bit
shabby
were the elevators - which unfortunately contributes to a first impression; however, this was soon forgotten because of the rest of our experience.

The interior of the room has been described as
shabby
-chic in previous reviews, but to be honest it is better described as rundown

chic.

This could be a great hotel -- it`s a historic building a great location and the neighborhood is wonderful, but the decor is
shabby
and in serious need of updating.
