1. The lack of any positive greeting from doormen/bellmen, as well as the really poor space and service in the restaurant at breakfast (I left after 5 minutes of being ignored) led me to happily explore the Drake's dining room for literally a few dollars more :) I highly recommend trying out the Drake with its Lake Michigan views during your stay for an opulent peaceful breakfast.

4. It's an older/historical building so whilst very nice it's not without some failings in that the internet access for the hotel rooms died while we were there (torturing the poor front desk staff who had to apologise) and an elevator was out of action meaning it could take a while to get from the lobby to your room, especially during peak times or when one of the conferences/meeting groups finished.

5. the drinks were terrible and for price, id go across the street to the Drake for someone who knows how to poor a drink.
