1. My teenage daughter wanted to sleep in so I tried to get some business done in a too small and dark business center or using one outlet in the lobby by the door where all the smokers smoked.

2. ANYONE who travels to Chicago and smokes will find the Essex to be one last bastion of liberty and comfort in a hostile world that hates smokers and often refuses to grant us the right to do as we please in the comfort and safety of our own private hotel rooms.
