1. A few helpful tips: Parking is EXPENSIVE, the lobby is on the 6th floor, the elevators are fast so there is not a long wait, PF Changs is next door and a great place for food and drinks.

5. The Homewood Suites is two blocks north of the Chicago River, and two blocks west of Michigan Avenue--right in the thick of things and steps away from much more expensive hotels (like the Marriott and the Conrad).

7. All of the staff are extremely helpful - I have stayed in much more expensive places than this and not had staff get me a taxi this quickly or get my bags to the room so fast.
