1. The first room I was offered was dirty (food left overs and garbage everywhere), used up (walls, carpets, sheets) and hardly furnished (2 beds, one tiny cabinet for a very old TV, a nite table, no chairs,no table etc.
"10 $ would have been too much for rooms like that " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/4/2012 Vote
2. So we got into the tiny 3X3 elevator and went to our assigned room only to find a small dirty window overlooking a dark air shaft.

4. More relevant is the fact that we were given a room with a tiny window facing an inside air passage (no view and much of that taken up with a window unit air conditioner) and minimal light.

7. The location is amazing right on times square, we did not have any problem about the street noise, but there's no soundproof in the hotel, is very old like most of NY hotels, the price is very reasonable for what you get since hotels in NY are really expensive, it was kind of clean, who knows how old are carpets, the room had some kind of renovation recently the bathroom was tiny and you have to let the water run for 15 min to get hot water, the towels are awful, the bathroom and closet door didn't close they were so old and they were painted probably tons of times over that they won't close anymore, the toilet was so weird and loud it will splash water everywhere if you don't put the cover down, and if the neighbor flushed it you will hear it.
"excellent location, poor quality ... good for sleeping only.. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/13/2012 Vote
