1. That said, I also hate finding myself in a dirty room with no air conditioning and often I find it's not worth the savings.

2. The hotel is rather old and needs some renovation, it's true, ie, the '1930's' style lift and '1970's' style telephones in the rooms, but all in all, rooms are spotless and even the shared bathrooms are cleaned 2 or 3 times a day ; I never found a dirty toilet at this hotel.

I must say I was slightly concerned before arrival as we had booked the hotel long before the wedding and I didn`t know what this would be like as a wedding/honeymoon hotel and obviously was a little concerned about having to share a bathroom and whether it would be constantly engaged, dirty, etc.
