1. Yes, the internet is slow, but I wasn't expecting to use it while on vacation, and coffee shops with wifi are close by.

2. True, the wallpaper looks tired, the radiator knocks and pings a bit, the one elevator is tiny and slow, the lobby at bit dark, the rooms smallish - but this bothered us not one bit.
