1. Even if the architecture and the structure is not proprely 'modern' there is a limit due to lack of restroom in the room.

2. As people have pointed out, the rooms are tiny, with little more room than the beds and wash-stand, but the lack of room wasn't really an issue.

4. My only complaints would be the erratic wifi(one night it worked good, the next it was trash) and lack of even a vending machine, but it is a short walk from a lovely 24/7 cafe that was good and reasonably priced.
