Yes, the room is small by normal standards, but not by NY standardsGood- excellent location, ion a quiet street 3 blocks from Union square- friendly reception - very clean room and shared bathrooms, and no trouble accessing bathroom- very quiet - no noise from street or other guests (I was on the 7th floor)- nice old- world feel- comfortable bed (if like me you like a hard bed)- good value for money in NYBad- wireless Internet very unreliable - if you want consistent Internet save yourself the frustration and go to Starbucks on Union square- Aircon unit was noisy and 1 foot from my head - impossible to sleep with it on (fortu nately it was not too hot) but could be a problem in summer in such a small room- maybe too much to ask for but it would have been good to have a kettle in the room (and even some sachets of instant tea and coffee)Overal hghly recommended for the price and I would stay there again.
