5. The bathrooms were shared, but the floors were small and only 3-4 rooms shared a bathroom so they were hardly ever busy and always spotless clean, cleaner than some private hotel baths I've seen.

6. It's a pretty small vintage looking hotel on a quiet residential street with hardly any amenties about 5 minutes walk from Union Square(one of the biggest subway stations in NYC).

7. Beds are ok but not too comfortable, front desk is overworked and understaffed, but all in all you will be hard pressed to find anywhere much better at this price.
