1. The room with the bed was quite nice and well furnished, but the other was badly thought out and basically useless, consisting of furnture that seemed out of place, the wrong size or unusable.

4. It should be a jewel in the Marriott portfolio, and it`s when things go wrong that it`s clear the team running the place is far from up to it.

5. The rudeness from the hotel staff continued throughout our stay, from the disinterested reception desk staff who refused to give any eye contact to the bar staff who huffed and tutted when we pointed out they had given us the wrong drinks order.

6. Good luck with your stay, you can`t go wrong with any of the hotels but this is a nice property than the Marquis if you have 'been there, done that'.
