1. on the slow day service was fine; I'd say they are understaffed.

2. I was just in NYC for business a month earlier at a different hotel and had trouble with the basics like hot water and slow elevators.

8. Like every hotel, this one has pros and cons:Pros:Great location on north end of TSQHotel is not enourmous, so don't usually have to wait for elevatorIn room safeCool bathroom feautres: TV speakers in the bathroom and something in the mirror that keeps it from steaming overMini-bar Large room - when first walking in the room you wouldn't think it was that big because there is lots of furniture, but the room is approximately 330 sq ft, which is large for NYCTurn down serviceFairly quiet even though you are in times squareRoom is overall very clean and modernCons:Only a shower, no bathtub In the shower i noticed a vent overhead that was very dirty The hotel bar is really cool, but they didn't seem to have enough staff so service was a little slow.
"Great Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/16/2011 Vote
9. When you enter the reception area off the street - to get to your room - you have to take a super slow elevator up to the main lobby, then change elevators to get to the rooms.

10. Negatives: slow street elevator to 1st floor lobby, then a separate elevator across the lobby to guest rooms; and it's a smaller, quiet hotel where you don't have the gift shops, restaurants, night life, etc.
"Convenient, quiet hotel " Read full review on Travelocity   6/1/2009 Vote
