1. We were on the 5th floor, and the noise from the street wasn't a problem.

5. I travel with a sound machine, so the street sounds were not a problem at all when we went to bed.

6. I didn't have any problems with street noise, even though my room faced 49th St (crazy loud), the rooms on the other side face Broadway, which might be louder, so I don't know if that makes a difference.
