5. I just flew in from overseas in the morning and got to the hotel around noon, and I was rather rudely informed by an African American male staff at reception that even though I had made a booking weeks ago, since the hotel was 100% occupied, I had to wait for my room.

6. Preconception of new Yorkers was of rudeness and arrogance, couldn,t have been more wrong, everyone we spoke to we,re always polite and friendly with a great sense of humour, You can always find a deli for breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices to keep the costs down, try to avoid eating out near times square, a little on the expensive side, although its a great place to visit and always very busy.

10. So my initial impression was not very good, I was most disappointed by the customer service we experienced the man that had checked us in was very blunt on occassions even bordering on rude and overall totally unhelpful and just said that we had what we had paid for and we haven't got any other options.
