1. As I've mentioned before, the only negatives are the lack of a pool and a self-service guest laundry (which I've come to expect at Hilton Garden Inns).

2. Perhaps we were checking in early as we had an early flight into NYC and he was annoyed giving us a room , whatever his excuse/problem it was his unresponsiveness and lack of courtesy which gave us a bad impression.

4. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, except for an issue with our television not working that they couldn't seem to get fixed- not for lack of trying however, and it didn't put a damper on our weekend.

7. He apologized for not having a room with a better view available (we were checking in at 10:30am - way before most people would've been checking out so lack of a room with a view is understandable, but our room was on the 14th floor and it was great.

10. The bathroom lacks a ventilation fan, so all of the condensation from the shower will form on the ceiling (which is evident from looking at the stains and spots on the ceiling).
