4. Perhaps we were checking in early as we had an early flight into NYC and he was annoyed giving us a room , whatever his excuse/problem it was his unresponsiveness and lack of courtesy which gave us a bad impression.

5. ) Breakfast can be an issue when you are somewhere on the fringes of a town, but definitely not a problem in the middle of NYC.

6. Pushing and shoving were not a problem, although I wouldn't take a stroller or baby carriage out into the crowd (central park OK, but not on the crowded sidewalks - they take up too much space).

9. )The staff were always pleasant, friendly and happy to help with any problem from directions, getting a taxi for you to getting a new room key (free of charge.

10. Now after reading about the bedbug problem in Manhattan, and a couple incidents at the Hilton Garden Inn prior to this, if they had a bedbug problem during our stay.
