1. Downsides are the relatively poor noise insulation of at least my room and the basement level hotel restaurant which is not exactly a cosy place for single travelers who would be better advised to seek other options in the area or order room service.

4. Half the staff was not aware it was out and the other half had no estimate of repair so we went the entire stay without internet access (not fun when the concierge service is so poor).

5. I am a VERY picky traveller and often don't like staying in hotels due to the hassle of treading the minefield of avoiding bad service and poor accommodation; I researched hundreds of hotels and read thousands of reviews when deciding where to stay for my special holiday.
