1. unfortunately the staff serving in ricks cafe had changed since our last visit, but the new ones were just as efficient and friendly as the ones we remember.

They had an unfortunate incident on our last day with water leaking from an upstairs room into ours, including on my laptop, but the hotel stepped up and was appropriately apologetic and discounted our room by 50% for the last night, which we felt was fair since there was really very little damage or inconvenience.

6. We upgraded and had a room with a window overlooking the street, unfortunately the building opposite was undergoing some renovation so it was a little noisy at times but this didn't affect us too much after all we didn't spend that much time in the room.

7. unfortunately, we had numerous problems with our room including the heat going off entirely one night and blasting so hot the next night that we had to open the windows to cool off our bedroom.

8. Most of the time when I've checked rates, the Casablance was, unfortunately, higher than I wanted to spend, and invariably higher for a room than a suite at some other properties.
