1. Try to avoid room 411' the smokers terrace is outside the window and it's noisy first thing during breakfast and during wine and cheese 5 to 8 pm.

2. Being a smoker, I loved the closed-off outside area (left of the lounge), a little oasis to have a coffee and smoke in the morning before the trekking around Manhattan.

3. The second floor lounge is a great place to chill and enjoy a beverege or 5 and there's even a smallish central outdoor area off this if you're a smoker.
