1. The hotel is close to nearly all of the broadway theaters and across the street from the Times Square Hard rock Cafe - a nice spot for a quick after theater bite to eat.

2. Generally the 'chains restaurants' like Bumba Gump Shrimp, Hard rock Cafe etc are not as good in terms of quality and value for money than the diners or independent restaurants.

8. If you want to spend hrs and waste money on a large buffet then go over the road to Hard rock, but seriously I would not even consider leaving the hotel for breakfast.

9. Go to the top of the rock instead of the Empire State as you can get an excellent view of the Empire State from there.
