But what was even more annoying was the fact that the hotel is situated beside a parking garage and they have an alarm that goes off when they use their lift - this alarm sounds exactly like the fire alarm in my office building so the first night I got up from bed many times thinking we had to evacuate.

2. Everytime somebody in another room used their sink or flushed their toilet the sounds gurgled through the pipes in our ensuite - really annoying.

3. That makes the hotel noisier during the evening and what with the late night garbage pickups from the two adjoinign restaurants it can become annoying if you happen to be assigned one of the front rooms.

4. We were at the back of the hotel and there was constant noise from an airconditioning unit over the alley which was annoying but the excellent location made up for it.
