1. My only qualm is that pool service was slow on certain days - not every day - but there were definitely times that I found myself sipping my drink more slowly because I hadn't seen the waitress come around for a solid 30 minutes.

2. One note, there is some ongoing roadwork on the west side of Lihue by the Kauai Community College that may slow you down during the trip to and from the Poipu area.

6. We found out after arrival that was their 'slow' two weeks (between Thanksgiving and Christmas) which I believe made this trip even more wonderful and I suggest this time frame if you don't like crowds.
